Happy Valentine's Day, from the LIAD Center!


They're Back! Returning Programs

Train Your Brain
The LIAD Center’s Train Your Brain program is for individuals who are experiencing early signs of Alzheimer’s and dementia and are interested in maintaining and enhancing cognitive abilities. Sessions stimulate the areas of the brain that are susceptible to age-related decline using activities such as word games, critical thinking, creative writing and more!


The Sharp Notes
The Sharp Notes is for diagnosed individuals along with their caregivers. The mission of the chorus program is to bring together loved ones for the shared purpose of learning a repertoire of hit songs.

In-Service Trainings for HHA's, CNA's and other direct care professionals

The LIAD Center invites companions, HHA's, CNA's and other direct care professionals to learn about the different types of dementia, stages of Alzheimer’s disease, as well as tips and strategies to best care for a client with dementia.

Educational Trainings
Caregivers play a vital role in supporting and coping with a loved one’s diagnosis.
Caregiver Trainings bring the community to our caregivers, offering innovative techniques, tools and valuable insight, while loved ones conveniently participate in our structured, stimulating day programs.


Stretch Out Your Mind, Body and Soul

Caregiver Yoga
In partnership with United We Om, our caregivers can start the new year with a healthy mind and body! Check out our new 8-week yoga program, provided during our day program hours.

Caregiver Retreat Day

Join us at Brandywine Living at Huntington Terrace for a day of self-care, including a canvas painting workshop, yoga class and lunch buffet.

On March 15th, we're collaborating with 2 Spring Restaurant for their Sunday Supper, where 20% of each meal will be donated towards the LIAD Center's hands-on programs and services. Enjoy a delicious meal AND support your community living with dementia all in one sitting!
