Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation Changes Name To Reflect Broad Services Available
Effective immediately, The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation has changed its name to the Long Island Alzheimer’s & Dementia Center. The name of the 31-year old not for profit was changed to more clearly reflect the wide range of programs and services that the center offers to families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia.

Making Memories at the Movies

A unique program designed for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Individuals of all ages enjoy clips of classic films and television programs followed by guided conversation and reminiscence.

The 2019 Long Island
Real Estate Committee Fundraiser
On Tuesday, December 10th, the Long Island Real Estate Committee held their 2nd annual fundraising event! This year, the committee honored Henry Bergman and Jeff Wasserman, owners of 1025 LI Technology Center. Friends, family and the community gathered for an exciting evening to benefit the LIAD Center's programs and services.
The event was catered with delicious food and drinks by H On the Harbor Events, had lively music, great company and raised over $30,000!
