Topic: Understanding Dementia
Description: A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia impacts the whole family. Come join Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center and the Mid-island Y/JCC to learn about how to best take care of family caregivers and discuss the importance of self-care. There is help and assistance available to families every step of the way! Learn about self-care techniques, local resources, and other ways to best care for yourselves as family caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
