This is a participant celebrating her birthday at Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center, with her daughter by her side and surrounded by friends. Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center is not just a place for her to attend to participate in activities and spend the day—Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center is a community filled with friendships, support and happiness. Without the resources to run our program though, we wouldn’t be able to celebrate and help improve the quality of life for those diagnosed.
Let those special people in your life know that you are thinking of them by sending the gift of hope in their honor to The Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center.
It’s estimated that 50,000 Long Islanders suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and other related forms of dementia —this could be someone in your inner circle or family.
When you donate today in someone’s honor, you both join us in the fight against Alzheimer’s. We would be honored to send a card to that wonderful person who would appreciate having a charitable donation made in his or her name.
