What an epic feeling to complete 17 ascends, 29029 feet! Thanks to all of you who supported me with words of encouragement prior and during my challenge, messages about how special my mother is and for the generous donations you made to fight Alzheimer’s. There were times when I didn’t feel I could hike up the mountain again, however, dedicating this challenge to my Mom and all your encouragement made me do the tough climbs when I didn’t think I had it in me. Big thanks to Dennis for being my partner up the last three when I needed it the most! I will never forget the unbelievable feeling of accomplishment when I crossed the finish line and the support and contributions all of you made. I spoke to Christine Rice at Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center on Thursday while driving to Vermont and she told me we were not to far from $10,000 which is unbelievable!
