Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month Event

Recognizing June Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month

June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month - an opportunity to raise awareness about cognitive health and recognize the more than 5 million American's living with cognitive impairment, as well as those that care for them.

In honor of the world-wide campaign, the LIAD Center staff created personal care packages for our families to help support cognitive stimulation and brain health. Special thanks to our sponsor, Elder Healthcare Services, packages included Summer-themed goodies, crafts, games and more!

Elder Healthcare Services helps families navigate and structure financial resources to ensure Medicaid acceptance quickly and efficiently. Their dedicated team is made up of people who know the system inside and out. Their mission is to make a difference in people's lives, to turn closed doors into open pathways, and to be a part of the solution.
